Vincent Edward Zuza of Monessen, 94 years young, returned to his Lord on December 22, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late John and Suzanne Zuza and his daughter Vinnie Ann, his sisters Anne Kamenicky and Helen Kamenicky, and his brother John Zuza. Vince is survived by his devoted wife, Irene Rusnak Zuza, his daughters Linda Zuza and Bernadette Lynch, wife of Dennis Lynch, his two grandsons and their wives, Dr. Ryan and Clarissa Lynch, and Christopher and Erin Lynch. A graduate of Monessen High and Vocational Schools, Vince served in the US Navy as a Machinist Mate First Class. He and his wife were co-owners of the Summit Dairy Bar and was employed at Page’s Wire and Steel. He retired from Bettis Atomic Plant. He also tended bar at the Holiday Restaurant and Lounge. Vince was a passionate gardener and skilled handyman who loved to share the fruits of his labor with family and friends. Other hobbies included bowling, dancing, and singing, playing the harmonica and feeding the birds. Above all, he was a proud Slovak-American, a devout Roman Catholic parishioner of The Most Holy Name of Jesus and St. Sebastian’s Churches and a loving family man. Family and friends will be received at the Robert A Billick Funeral Home, Grand Blvd and Marion Ave Monessen, www.billicksfuneralhome.com from 11:00AM – 3:00PM on Thursday, December 24 and from 9:30 -10:30AM on Saturday, December 26. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon. Final internment will be at the Most Holy Name of Jesus Cemetery, Monessen.
