Thomas E Hammitt

Thomas E Hammitt 80 of Monongahela on Monday October 23 in Lasosky Personal Care Home.  Born in Belle Vernon on June 6 1937 he was the son of the late Herman and Margaret Melarky Hammitt. He was Catholic By Faith. Tom was employed by American Chain and Cable Monessen Plant. He served his country in the US Air Force. Besides his parents he was proceeded in death by his wife Kathryn Rodriquez Hammitt a Sister Ruth Bradley. He is survived by his daughter Karen Hammitt, Two grandchildren Heather Hopkinson and Jeremy Lidsey and on great grandson Luca, two brothers and sisters in law Robert and Margaret Hammitt of Belle Vernon and Norm and Vivian Hammitt of Monessen. Funeral services with Military Honors will be held on Monday November 6 at 12:30 pm in the Cemetery od the Alleghenies with Fr. Michael Crookston officiating
