Sue (Caprio) Gnora

Sue Caprio Gnora 92 of Monessen on Saturday March 26 2016 in Mon Valley Hospital Inc. Born in Monongahela on December 8 1923 she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Assunte Rivetti Caprio.  Sue was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and she lived her life for her extended family. In her early life Sue worked in the Caprio Family Market. Besides her parents she was proceeded in death by her husband Michael,  a son Jeffery  five brothers Tony, Louie, Patsy "Willie", Andre "Cab" and Florentino Caprio. Three sisters Lucy Caprio Massari, Angelina Caprio and Jenny Caprio Angotti. She is survived by a daughter and son in law Michele and Doug Roesch of Pittsburgh, a son and daughter in law Michael and Pam Gnora of Monessen . Three granddaughters Kristen and Ricky Tyburski, Kimberly and Stacey Gnora all of Monessen, one great granddaughter Victoria Tyburski. One brother and sister in law James and Peg Caprio of Wilmington  NC. numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 until 4 and  6 until 8 pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc. Grand Blvd and Marion Ave. Monessen www.billicksfuneralhome.com  Panachida will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 am in the Funeral Home Followed by 10 am Divine Liturgy in St. Mary's Byzantine Church with Fr. Stephen Wahal  officiating interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
