Richard Earl Davis

Richard Earl Davis 71 of Monessen on Tuesday April 17 in Mon Valley Hospital Inc. Born in Pittsburgh on Jan 30 1947 he was the son of the late Fritz and Delores Bolen Davis. Rich was a graduate of Penn Hills High School and the PA. State Police Academy. He retired from the Pennsylvania State Police. Rich was an avid outdoorsmen who loved to hunt with his two German Short Haired Pointers. He was a member of the Penn Hills N.A.A.C.P. and a active member of his church the Christian Center of Belle Vernon. He is survived by his daughter Ebony Davis of Mechanicsburg PA. two sisters Rose Mary and Joyce Davis of Pittsburgh and a very dear friend Andrew Victovic of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 pm until 6:30 pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc. Grand Blvd. and Marion Ave Monessen www.billicksfuneralhome.com and on Wednesday from 12 noon until 1 pm in the Christian Center Church 130 Charity Lane Belle where funeral services will be held. Interment will follow in the Cemetery of the Alleghenies
