Mary A (Pernelli) Stinogle

Mary Stinogle, 94, of Monessen, PA., passed away this day of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 30, 2021. She was the beloved daughter of Frank and Norma (Vespy) Pernelli, wife of deceased husband Blaine Stinogle, and mother of Blaine Jr. (deceased), Dale, and Roy Stinogle. Her sisters Theresa and Anne and brothers Carlo, Frank, and George, all deceased. Grandchildren Blaine, Jason, Danielle, and Ashley, and great-grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews who will miss their Sunday telephone conversations. During WWII she traveled to Arizona taking a job as a telephone operator for military service personnel calling home to their loved ones. On the way back home to Pennsylvania, she met her husband to be, Blaine, a returning veteran.  Mary’s pride and joy was her devoted son, Roy, with whom she made her home. Mary was an avid gardener and baker. Mary’s generosity was shown especially with her home-baked cookies she shared with friends, neighbors, and her doctors. She was a caregiver to many throughout her life. May she Rest in Peace and the Lord’s Light shine upon her.  Friends will be received on Monday, July 5, 2021, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc., Grand Blvd. & Marion Avenue, Monessen, Pennsylvania. A blessing service will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2021, and begin at 9:30 am in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord with Fr. Michael J. Crookston officiating.
