Mary (Garofalo) Guerra

Mary Guerra 96 of Monessen on Saturday February 28 2015 in Mon Valley Care Center. Born in Monessen on May 15 1918 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline Gaudio Garofalo. She was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Louis, her daughter Carol "Queenie" Beregi. Three Brothers Michael, Arthur and Joseph Jr. Garofalo. Two sisters Irene Beaumariage and Mable Rue. Two Nephews Mark Garofalo and Arthur Garofalo Jr. She is survived by two daughters and sons in law Mary Louise and Dr. Thomas Persico and Cindy and Kevin Coccari both of Monessen. A son in law Alan Beregi of Monessen. Grand children Sandor and Lindsay Beregi of Monessen, Kelly and Arron Kunder of Perryopolis, Jodi Carini of Greensburg Bill Carini Jr. of Canonsburg and Erin and Chase Helon of Peters Twp. Great grandchildren Nathan, Tyler and Marlee Carini, Isebella, Scarlet and Michael Kunder and Nicholas Helon. A sister Edith Purcell of Monroeville and two sisters in law Sandra Garofalo of Florida and Eugenia Guerra of Charleroi Friends will be received on Tuesday from 11 am until 2 pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc. Grand Blvd. and Marion Ave Monessen www.billicksfuneralhome.com Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 pm in the funeral home with Fr. Michael Crookston officiating interment will follow in St. Hyacinth's Cemetery
