Mary Angela Cervantes, 69, of Annandale, Va., formerly of Monessen, was called by the Lord and the Angels to Heaven. Mary passed away on Thursday, January 12th in Monessen surrounded by her family. She was born on October 24, 1947 in Monessen, a daughter of Jesus and Mary Cervantes. She was a 1965 Graduate of Monessen High School. She also earned a finance degree from the University of Georgia. She worked as a bank teller and advanced to Director of Operations for Perpetual Bank. She later worked in accounting for BAE Systems. Mary is survived by her sister Margarita (Jeff) Russell of Jacksonville, Florida, her nephews Joseph (Donna) Cervantes of Jacksonville, FL, Jack (Denise) Cervantes of Monessen, PA, Christopher (Lindsey) Russell of Middleburg, FL, Richard (Toni) Russell of Mandan, ND, her nieces Lisa (Michael) Latkanich of Belle Vernon, PA, Angela (David) Seiple of Orange Park, FL, Sara (Thomas) Grant of Winter Haven, FL, and numerous great nieces and nephews. Mary is preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Mary Cervantes, her brother Antonio Cervantes and her sister Patricia Neil. Family and Friends will be received at the ROBERT A.
