Louis Robert Drop

Louis Robert Drop 67 of Monessen, on Thursday December 6, 2012. He is the son of the late John and Helen Nivert Drop. Mr. Drop was a retired Charleroi High School chemistry teacher of thirty seven years. He was a life member of The National Educational Association. He was a Beth Center high school graduate and went on and obtained his Two Master Degrees both in Chemistry one from California University of Pennsylvania and one from the University Of Notre Dame. Louis was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed Hunting Fishing and Gardening. He was also a life member of North American Hunting Club. Louis was Catholic by faith. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a step daughter Kim Anderson and brother-in-law Jack McElroy. He is survived by his wife Jean Plavetich Drop of Monessen, his brother and sister-in-law Charles and Yochioko Drop of California, Niece and Nephew Debra and Ronald Drop of California, Brother-in-law John Plavetich of Monessen, sister-in-law Mrs Fran McElroy of McMurray, Nephew John and Hilary McElroy, Great Nephew Jack Landers McElroy, And a nephew Ryan McElroy all of Mount Lebanon and his special friend Stacy Babyak. Friends will be received on Sunday December 9th from 2 pm until 4 pm and 6pm until 9pm in the Robert A Billick Funeral Home Inc.
