Kathryn Elaine (Tomer) Scales

Kathryn Elaine Scales, 75, of Monessen, passed away on February 26, 2018 in her home. She was born on February 17, 1943 to Willam and Ruth (Roe) Tomer in North Charleroi, PA. She was a graduate of Monessen High School. Kathryn worked as a Cashier for Hills and she was a member of Seventh-Day Adventist Church . Kathryn is survived by her loving husband Rodney Scales, son, Donald Scales of Monessen, daughter, Melissa Rae Scales of Jeffersonville IN granddaughter, Candace Rae Russell of Jeffersonville, IN great-granddaughter, Jordyn Rae McRoy of Jeffersonville, IN and a brother, Terry L. (Ginny) Tomer of Wilmington, NC. Besides Her parents she was preceded in death by her Step Mother, Emma Tomer. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc., Grand Blvd. & Marion Avenue Monessen, Pennsylvania. Funeral services will be held Friday beginning at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor Brandon Senior, officiating. Burial will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
