Julia A. (Opar) Moskola

Julia A Opar Moskola 94 of Monessen on Monday February 13 in Mon Valley Hospital Inc. Born in Pricedale on May 27 1922 she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Sophia Daddio Opar. She was a Member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, former member of St. Mary's Ladies Guild and her neighborhood card club. Julia was the matriarch of her family. She was an excellent seamstress ,great cook and baker and family was her world. She will be dearly missed. Besides her parents she was proceeded in death by her husband Edward, two sisters Mary Wysochanski and Sophie Zuro and a brother Alex Opar. She is survived by a daughter and son in law Barbara and Shane Corica of Monessen. A granddaughter Isabel. One sister and brother in law Evelyn and Stephen Peckyno of Bethel Park two God Children Stephen Eric Peckyno of Robinson Twp. and Gloria J. Braddock of Monessen. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc. Grand Blvd and Marion Ave. Monessen www.billicksfuneralhome.com Panachida will be held on Thursday at 9:30 am in the Funeral Home followed by 10 am Divine Liturgy in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church with Fr. Stephen Wahal Officiating interment will follow in St. Mary's cemetery.
