Helen I. Ursinyi

Helen I. Ursinyi, 93, of Monessen, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024 in Hallsworth House, Monessen with her loving family by her side. She was born on December 8, 1930 in Monessen,the daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Koral) Yartin. She was a member of St. John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church in Monessen. Helen loved spending time with her family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her three daughters, Janet Ursinyi of Mentor, OH, Debra (Terry) Farrell of Speers, Kathleen (Raymond) Marshman of McDonough, GA; two grandsons, Jeremy (Lindsay) Farrell, Ryan Marshman; granddaughter, Katelyn (Jeremy) Walker; three great-granddaughters, Averie and Julie Walker, Marlowe Farrell; two great-grandsons, Jaxson Walker, Alden Farrell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband George A. Ursinyi; grandson, Mark Farrell, granddaughter, Jennifer Farrell, infant brother, Michael Yartin, six brothers, John, Nick, Charles, Andrew, George and Michael Yartin, sister, Mary Keleman. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. Friends will be received Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc., Grand Blvd. & Marion Avenue, Monessen. Services will follow beginning at 12:00 noon, with Fr Constantine Churchin officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Helens family would like to thank Hallsworth House and it's Staff for their wonderful care and Vai Quest Hospice and their staff.   In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Activities Director at Hallsworth House C.O.
