Helen Jane Curran

Helen Jane Curran 64 of Monessen on Tuesday January 7 in Premier Washington County Health Center. Born in Prosperity PA on November 8 1960 she was the daughter of the late Emery and Jane McDonough Sakerka. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon, enjoyed taking long walks and spending time with her dogs. She was a kind and gentle spirit who saw the good in everyone. Jane fought a long hard battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis. She is survived by her husband William “Billy” Curran of Monessen, daughter Blake Curran of Louisville KY and a sister and brother in law Luann and Steve Hickman of South Carolina. Billy and Blake would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Premier Washington County Health Center for their outstanding support, compassion and caring service. Funeral services were private with burial following in Mon Valley Memorial Park Donora PA. The Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc. Monessen was entrusted with the arrangements.
