George Betza

George Betza 85 of Perryopolis on Monday September 9 2013 in Mon Valley Hospital Inc. Born in Monessen on October 5 1927 he was the son of the late Andrew and Mary Chesmar Betza. He retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Company and was catholic by faith. George served his country in the United States Navy. Besides his parents he was proceeded in death by three brothers John Chatsko, Andrew and Mike Betza, and one sister Mary Duran. He is survived by two brothers and a sister in law Robert and Rosemary Betza of Monessen and Joseph Betza of Perryopolis. One niece Patricia ( Chuck ) Gifford of North Carolina, two nephews Robert A and Robin Betza of Gibonsia Pa and Kenny and Donna Betza of Lower Burrell Pa six great nieces and nephews. Private funeral services were held Saturday morning in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc. Grand Blvd and Marion Ave. Monessen www.billicksfuneralhome.com 724 684-3700 with Fr. Michael Crookston officiating. Burial at sea with full Military honors will take place at a later date.
