Elizabeth (Betty) Manderino

Elizabeth Manderino, 87 of Monessen, on Sunday October 9, 2011 in Nevaeh Cove Care Home, in Charleroi. Born in Monessen on August 31, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Alexandria Neske Hubert. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church and Hilltop Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary. Elizabeth devoted most of her time as a care giver to her family. She was profoundly proud of her Polish Heritage. She was a fabulous at baking and cooking and will be remembered for her pierogies, breads, buns, Italian and Polish cookies. Besides her parents she was preceded in death her husband Louis J. Manderino, two daughters Leona and Lucille ,one brother and four sisters Lou Hubert, Amelia Baye, Phyllis Jozwa, Henrietta Stames and Jenny Vok. She is survived by her son and daughter in-law Louis and Roxanne Manderino of Belle Vernon, numerous nieces and nephews and a loving dog Beezer. Friends are invited to attend Commital services on Friday October 14, 2011 in the Grandview Cemetery Chapel at 12 Noon with Fr. James Clark officiating.
