Catherine L. Sawi 47 of Monessen on Saturday August 23 2014 in HCR Manor Care. Born in New Eagle on February 22 1967 She was the daughter of the late Edward M Mikula and Patricia Johnson Mikula of Monessen. She was a 1985 graduate of Monessen High School and the Douglas School of Education. Cathy enjoyed reading, puzzles and volunteering at St. Vincent DePaul. She was a member of St. Marys Byzantine Catholic Church. Besides her Mother she is survived by her son V. Craig Sawi of Perkasie PA. a sister Mary Apicella of Ohio three brothers and a sister in law Edward and Ashley Mikula Jr. of Belle Vernon, Jeffery Mikula of Cecil and David Mikula of N.Y. a special friend Tim. Neices and nephews Aron, Amanda, Theo, Annabelle, Kyra, Jacob, Annadea, Will, Luke and Sean, loving aunts and uncles. Private funeral services were held this morning in the Robert A Billick Funeral Home Inc. www.billicksfuneralhome.com interment followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
