Anna (Evancho) Zelenak

Anna Zelenak 99 of Monessen on Wednesday July 16 2015 in McMurray Hills Manor . Born in Monessen on May 25 1916 she was the daughter of the late John and Sophie Evancho Sr. She retired as a manager with J.C. Murphy Co. She was a Member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church it's Ladies Guild and Rosary Society and the Catholic Daughters of America. Besides her parents she was proceeded in death by her Husband Thomas Zelenak, one brother John Evancho, sisters in law Ilona Evancho, Dorothy Evancho, Mary Agnes Evancho, and a niece Laurel Senitta. She is survived by her daughter and son in law Veronica and Tom Vergina of Las Vegas, a sister Sophie Evancho of Monessen, two brothers William (Chase) Evancho of Monessen and Michael Evancho of Mogadore Ohio. Two grandsons Thomas Vergina and Anthony Vertino and two great grandchilkdren Joseph and Emily Vertino. Numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Monday July 20 from 2 until 7 pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc. Grand Blvd and Marion Ave Monessen www.billicksfuneralhome.com Panachida services will be held in Tuesday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by 10 am Divine Liturgy in St. Mary's Church with Fr. Stephen Wahal officiating interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Parish rosary will begin on Monday at 2 pm followed by Panachida Services.
