Ann Organ 93, of Monessen, on Friday Jan 9 2015, at home with her family by her side. Born in Hermine PA. on July 12 1921, Ann was the daughter of the late George and Mary Melon Holomshek. She was the eldest of twelve children. She was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church. Ann loved her religion, to be with her family and, rooting for all the Pittsburgh Sports Teams . In the 70’s and 80’s she would be seen greeting and carding people at their family business The Harbor Light Lounge. She also loved to read, go to Bingo and periodically you would see her playing blackjack at the casino. Besides her parents she was proceeded in death by her husband Edward A. Organ, five brothers George, Frank, John (Coke), Charles and Carl Holomshek and two Sisters Alice Smith and Nancy Byrne. She is survived by a son Edward D. Organ and a daughter Jeanne Organ Bindi both of Monessen, also two brothers Nicholas (Janice) Holomshek of Blythedale and Paul ”Chico” (Diane) Holomshek of West Mifflin and two sisters Evelyn Bente of Florida and Marilyn “Sandy” (Jerry) Wilson of Dravosburg, four sisters in law Mary of Hutchinson, Dulene of Arkansas, Eileen of New York and Margaret “Sis” Holomshek of Hermine Numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc. Grand Blvd and Marion Ave Monessen www.billicksfuneralhome.com a Blessing service will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by a 10 am Funeral Mass in the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church interment will follow in St. Hyacinth’s Cemetery.
