Andy Resetar

Andy Resetar 90 of Charleroi on Wednesday May 17 2017 peacefully at home. Born in Monessen on June 11 1926 he was the son of the late John and Anna Almasi Resetar Sr. Andy retired as a mechanic for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Co. Monessen Plant. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. An avid Pittsburgh Sports fan and served as the neighborhood mechanic. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Louise Kline Resetar, a brother John and a sister Anne Wotkowski. He is survived by three sons and daughters in law Andrew L. (Maureen) Resetar of Cleveland, Michael J (Diane) Resetar of Charleroi and Gregory C. (Debra) Resetar of Rostraver Twp. Four grandsons Patrick M. (Natalie) of Amherst OH, Brian M (Kristin) of Corry PA, Chad A. (Shanna) of Greenville PA and Eric M. of Rostraver Twp. Two step great grandchildren Taylor and Jordynn. Two Brothers and a sister in law Michael of Fairmont WVA and Charles and Irene Resetar of Monessen. Three sisters Mary (Paul) Tarasuk of Derwood MD, Sophie Resetar of San Franisco, and Helen Natko of Las Vegas. The family would like to thank all the family, friends and care givers that assisted Andy. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 pm until 8 pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc. Grand Blvd and Marion Ave Monessen www.billicksfuneralhome.com. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10 am in Mary Mother of the Church with Fr. Jerry Mikonis Officiating interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
