Derrick "G" Dixon

Derrick "G" Maxwell Dixon, 35, of Monongahela formerly of Monessen, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2022 at  Jefferson Hills Manor Clairton following a lengthy illness. He was born on December 2, 1987 to the late John Dixon and Antoinette Saunders Dixon in Monongahela. G was a graduate of Monessen High School Class of 2007. He was a sneaker-head that loved to play video games and was always ready to play. He loved to watch, play and talk football. In recent years he was a traveler and a foodie who liked to try new things and go new places. He will be missed by all of his friends who he loved and also his dogs (his bullies). Derrick is survived by his son who he loved very much, Derrick Dixon, Jr.; his Girlfriend, Tara Allen of Elizabeth PA., sister, Sonnet Pichardo of Houston, TX; brother, Merle Gathers of Columbus, GA; also his best friend and mother to his son Shayna Arnold Friends will be received on Thursday January 5, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc., Grand Blvd. & Marion Avenue Monessen.Out of respect to his memory and to his family they ask that there be no cell phone use or photos in the funeral home during visitation.
